THE NATIONAL OSTEOGENESIS IMPERFECTA AWARENESS, FAMILY SUPPORT & INCLUSION CONFERENCE 2026
Celebrating 10 Years of Service to Humanity, the OI Community & the Disability Community
Ten years ago, a vision was born—a vision to ensure that people living with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) and other disabilities are seen, heard, supported, empowered and given the opportunity to live with dignity.
Today, the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation Nigeria (OIFN) proudly celebrates 10 years of service, advocacy, awareness, family support, inclusion and impact.
For a decade, OIFN has continued to stand with individuals and families affected by Osteogenesis Imperfecta, while championing a society where disability does not limit access to healthcare, education, mobility, opportunity, dignity or a meaningful life.
To mark this remarkable milestone, Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation Nigeria, in collaboration with the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation Network (OIFN Network), presents a powerful 3-Day OI Conference & 10th Anniversary Celebration.
Our 2026 gathering is more than a conference.
It is a celebration of lives touched, families strengthened, barriers challenged, communities empowered and hope restored.

🥂 TEN YEARS OF SERVICE.
💙 TEN YEARS OF HOPE.
💪 TEN YEARS OF STRENGTH.
🌱 TEN YEARS OF RESILIENCE.
🌍 TEN YEARS OF IMPACT.
💙 WHY THIS CELEBRATION MATTERS
Osteogenesis Imperfecta is more than a medical diagnosis. It affects individuals, families, education, employment, mobility, relationships, mental wellbeing and participation in society.
For many people living with OI, access to appropriate healthcare, mobility equipment, specialist support, information and inclusive opportunities remains a major challenge.
That is why this year’s conference is so important.
We are bringing people together to learn, connect, advocate, provide practical support and celebrate progress.
We are creating a platform where the voices of people living with OI and other disabilities can be heard.
We are bringing professionals and communities together.
We are encouraging research and better care.
We are supporting families.
We are promoting inclusion.
We are providing mobility solutions.
And above all, we are reminding every person affected by OI:
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
🌍 A DECADE OF IMPACT — AND THE JOURNEY CONTINUES
As OIFN celebrates 10 years of serving humanity, we recognise that the journey does not end here.
The next chapter must be bigger.
The next chapter must be more inclusive.
The next chapter must bring greater access to healthcare and treatment.
The next chapter must strengthen research.
The next chapter must empower more families.
The next chapter must provide greater access to mobility.
The next chapter must create more opportunities for people living with OI and disabilities to thrive.
We are not simply celebrating 10 years.
We are celebrating the people behind those 10 years.
Every family supported.
Every person empowered.
Every barrier challenged.
Every wheelchair provided.
Every conversation started.
Every life touched.
Every voice amplified.
This is the OIFN story.
